Be back soon

My computer up and died on me the other day, and we're off tomorrow morning on an unexpected trip to Amman.

Hi, Amanda,
I'm not a blogger, usually. I'm very glad you are planning to keep this going.

J, S & H move to Oman in less than a week. We are excited about the possiblities for them there.

I have gotten back into art lately. Is there any way I can send you my "Postcard to America"?

A young, brilliant college freshman we know and love lives in Orange County. He met and visited his grandparents in south Lebanon in 2002. This week his 80+ grandpa died there. My heart goes out to
his family and the many such families of innocents so cruely treated.

We sincerely hope the US and Israeli unprecedented war crimes will not go unpunished. But here they are rarely noticed. That's the subject of another of my art works, I'd like to send you.

Thanks for what you are doing.

Privacy its the most imortant human right, and you have no right to talk about private lifes of people you know...

Amanda, don't know if you and Samer are familiar with this group, but I thought you might want to consider submitting the piece about being Arab in America which featured Samer and another Palestinian man-the one you showed at the festival a few months back (can't recall the name...)

For Filmmakers
If you are a filmmaker interested in distributing your film through our library, contact us at films@thefilmconnection.org.

The Film Connection

I just joined this-it's like Netflix with a conscience. Their library is smallish now, but you can borrow indi and foreign films for free, so long as you create a film group or 2 or more people to watch the films, participate in discussion, etc.
